Chocolate Pecan Pie
Chocolate Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (german chocolate may be used), 3 tbsp. butter, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup and 3 eggs, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.
In another saucepan combine sugar and syrup.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Boil for 2 minutes.
Add chocolate mixture.
Add eggs and vanilla, stirring constantly.
Add pecans and mix in well. Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake at 375Β° for 45 to 50 minutes or until filling is puffed completely across top.
Cool before serving.
