Chocolate Fudge
Chocolate Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. milk, 2 unsweetened chocolate squares (or 3 to 4 tbsp. cocoa), 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. corn syrup and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cream milk and chocolate over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted.
Stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Cook and gently stir to 236Β°.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and let cool to lukewarm.
Add vanilla and beat until thick and not glossy.
Add 1 cup of broken nuts, if desired.
Spread in buttered pan.
Chill and cut into pieces.
