Chocolate Covered Cherries
Chocolate Covered Cherries is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. powdered sugar, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/8 tsp. salt, 3 beaten egg whites and 2 small jars maraschino cherries, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Drain cherries.
Cream the butter, sugar and salt.
Add beaten egg whites; knead to mix.
Pinch a small portion of mixture and form a small ball around a cherry.
When all the cherries are covered with the sugar-butter mixture, melt the chocolate and paraffin together.
Dip the balls into the chocolate using hat pin or toothpick; set to drain on waxed paper.
After all are dipped, use a small spoon to drip chocolate on top to cover toothpick hole.
