Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or oleo, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. white sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Let butter and shortening stand at room temperature, then cream oleo or butter and Crisco.
Add brown and white sugar until creamy.
Be sure batter is smooth.
Next add eggs and beat.
Add vanilla, then mix flour and other ingredients.
Add chips and nuts with spoon.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet by spoonfuls.
Use a spatula to push it off the spoon.
Bake about 8 to 10 minutes or until done.
Let cool before stacking.
