Chili and Rice
Chili And Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. rice, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can green chilies, 12 oz. monterey jack cheese and 2 tomatoes, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook rice.
Brown hamburger. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish. Line bottom of dish with rice. Cover with green chilies, then put half of cheese, then hamburger, then sliced tomatoes. Combine sour cream, green pepper and seasonings.
Pour over casserole and put rest of cheese on.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
