Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean ground beef or 1/2 ground turkey, 1 (29 oz.) can crushed tomatoes or 4 c. chopped fresh tomatoes, 1 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. green pepper and 2 cloves garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Oven brown ground beef (or beef and turkey). Add green pepper and onion and cook until onion is tender. Add tomatoes, salt and chili powder.
Reduce heat and simmer for approximately hour; stir occasionally. Stir in beans and liquid; heat through completely.
Let sit about 1/2 hour and serve.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
