Chile Relleno Casserole
Chile Relleno Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (26 oz.) can whole green chilies, 1 lb. monterey jack cheese, cut in 1 x 3-inch strips, 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated, 5 large eggs and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Clean chilies; rinse and dry.
Place Monterey Jack cheese strips in chilies and place in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Beat eggs.
Gradually add flour and beat until smooth.
Add salt and milk; blend thoroughly.
Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over chilies. Spread egg mixture over the top.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
