Chile Cheese Casserole
Chile Cheese Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 5 eggs, beaten well, 2 c. grated cheddar cheese, 2 c. grated monterey jack cheese, 1 (7 oz.) can ortega whole green chilies and pinch of garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Beat eggs; add salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of garlic. Open chilies and clean seeds from them.
Spread in the bottom of well buttered 8 x 8-inch Pyrex baking dish, alternating cheese and chilies in layers.
Pour eggs over and bake 40 minutes at 350Β°. Cut into one-inch squares or smaller.
