Chicken Tetrazzini
Chicken Tetrazzini is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 c. cooked chicken, 1/2 to 3/4 lb. mushrooms, 1/2 c. almonds, 2 c. chicken broth and 3 tbsp. chicken fat or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook spaghetti.
Saute mushrooms.
Add to spaghetti; mix in almonds.
Make a sauce with butter, flour and chicken broth.
Warm whipping cream.
Add to sauce.
Cut up chicken in separate bowl. Pour half of sauce over chicken, other half over spaghetti.
Put spaghetti in greased casserole.
Pour chicken over and toss gently.
Sprinkle almonds over top.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 375Β° or until golden brown on top.
