Chicken Stroganoff
Chicken Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken, cut into strips, 2 c. sliced mushrooms, 1 celery stalk, chopped, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 c. sour cream or plain yogurt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In skillet, in 1 tablespoon hot margarine, cook half of the chicken until browned; stir often.
Remove.
Repeat with remaining chicken.
In an additional 1 tablespoon hot margarine, cook mushrooms and celery until tender and liquid is evaporated; stir often.
Add soup and sour cream; heat to boiling.
Return chicken to skillet; heat through.
Stir often.
Serve with rice or noodles.
