Chicken in the Pan
Chicken In The Pan is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 to 3 lb.) chicken, 2 lb. onions, sliced, 2 cans mushrooms, drained, 3 tbsp. garlic salt and 2 tsp. pepper (sprinkle between layers), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut up chicken.
Alternate layers of chicken, onions and mushrooms, finishing with onions on top. Add 1 1/2 cups water. Cover pan and put in a 400° oven for 10 minutes.
Turn down the heat to 175° and cook for 8 hours without burning it.
One half hour before serving, put chicken under broiler for 15 minutes to brown top and turn gently under to brown.
Serve with potatoes or noodles.
