Chicken Dressing Casserole
Chicken Dressing Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 pkg. mexican cornbread, cooked and crumbled, 1 stick oleo, melted, 1 c. chicken broth (from stock), 1 (3 to 4 lb.) fryer, cooked and boned (not overcooked) and 1/2 c. celery, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix first 3 ingredients.
Place half in greased baking pan. Mix chicken, onion, celery and mayonnaise.
Spread over cornbread mixture.
Beat eggs, milk and broth; add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
Pour over chicken.
Pour remaining cornbread over chicken.
Spoon soup over dressing, sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at least 45 minutes or until brown at 375Β°.
