Chicken Casserole
Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. cooked chicken, cut in pieces, 1/4 c. butter, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 tsp. salt and dash of pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Melt butter.
Saute onion.
Remove from heat.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Drain mushrooms, reserve liquid, add enough water to make 1/2 cup liquid.
Gradually stir liquid into flour mixture.
Put back to heat.
Stir in evaporated milk.
Add mushrooms.
Cook over medium heat until thickened.
