Chicken Casserole
Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 chicken legs, boned and skin removed, cut into 4 pieces each, 2 cans chicken soup, 1 green pepper, sliced thin, 1 lb. mozzarella cheese and 1 red or spanish onion, sliced thin (round), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Braise chicken on both sides.
Place in layers in deep dish chicken, then pepper and onion, over and over until full to top. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add water to soup and pour over chicken.
Add thyme.
Do not stir.
Place in oven and cook at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours (test for doneness before adding cheese).
Add cheese the last 10 minutes to melt.
