Chicken and Rice Dressing
Chicken And Rice Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. margarine, melted, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 (3 to 4 lb.) fryer, cut up, salt and pepper to taste and 1 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine margarine and lemon juice.
Brush chicken with mixture and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
Combine rice, chicken broth and water in saucepan; bring to boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Set aside.
Cook sausage, onion and celery until sausage is done.
Combine rice and sausage.
Stir well. Spoon mixture around chicken and bake for 30 minutes.
