Chicken and Chip Casserole
Chicken And Chip Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. cooked, cubed chicken (white and dark meat), 1 c. instant rice, uncooked, 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, 3/4 c. milk and 4 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix chicken, soup and milk.
Set aside.
Melt butter in a saucepan; add celery and onion.
Cook over low heat until onions are glazed.
Remove from heat and stir in mushrooms.
Stir in chicken and add to rice and soup; mix well.
Put in 1 1/2 cups potato chips in bottom of buttered casserole.
Line up chips along side of dish.
Pour in mixture.
Top with remaining chips. Bake at 325Β° for 35 minutes or until chips are rigid brown.
