Chewy Pralines
Chewy Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1 pt. cream, 3 sticks butter (the real thing!), 3 c. white karo syrup and 1 tbsp. salt (level), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook in large pot everything except vanilla and pecans.
Bring to a boil over low heat.
Stir constantly.
Cook until it forms almost a hard ball (243Β°) on candy thermometer.
Remove and add pecans and vanilla.
Pour into greased pan (13x9).
When cold, cut into squares.
