Chewy Chocolate Cookies
Chewy Chocolate Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. margarine, softened, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; blend well. Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda.
Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts or chips, if desired.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 9 minutes.
(Do not overbake.
Cookies will be soft.
They'll puff during baking and flatten upon cooling.)
Cool on cookie sheet until set, about 1 minute.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
