Chess Cakes
Chess Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks oleo, 1 box light brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, one at a time and 2 c. flour, sifted with 1 tsp. baking powder and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Melt on low heat oleo and brown sugar.
Remove from heat; put in mixing bowl and beat in (in this order) sugar, eggs (one at a time), flour, vanilla and pecans.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake in 300Β° oven 40 to 50 minutes or until it tests done.
Cut into bars while warm and roll in powdered sugar. Keeps well in airtight container.
