Cherry Cola Salad
Cherry Cola Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can pitted dark sweet cherries, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. black cherry gelatin, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry gelatin and 1 (12 oz.) can cola, chilled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Drain cherries and pineapple, reserving juice.
Add enough water to juice to make 2 cups liquid.
Bring liquid to boil.
Add gelatin, stirring to dissolve.
Stir in cola.
Chill until lightly thickened.
Combine celery, pecans, cherries, pineapple and coconut, if desired.
Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy; add to fruit mixture, stirring well.
Fold cream cheese mixture into gelatin; pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Chill until firm.
Cut into squares to serve.
