Cherry-Banana Bread
Cherry-Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour and 3 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a large mixing bowl, with electric mixer, combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; add flour mixture and bananas alternately to butter mixture, mixing just until ingredients are moistened.
Do not overmix.
Fold in dried cherries.
Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
