Cheese 'n Sausage Pie
Cheese 'N Sausage Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (9-inch) pie shells, 1 lb. bulk sausage, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/3 c. chopped bell pepper and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 425°.
Bake pie shells until lightly brown, about 7 minutes.
Remove and set aside.
Reduce oven temperature to 350°.
In a skillet, brown sausage until done.
Remove and drain on paper towel.
Reserve 2 tablespoons fat.
Saute onions and bell pepper until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.
Stir sausage into mixture.
Divide sausage mixture between the pie shells. Sprinkle cheese on top.
In bowl, beat eggs until blended; add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Pour over cheese.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes.
Slice and serve with tossed salad.
