Cheese Cookies
Cheese Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. red pepper, 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese and 1/2 c. butter or margarine (room temperature), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven
Mix flour, salt and pepper.
Beat cheese, butter and milk with electric mixer until well blended. Gradually mixture.
Shape teaspoons of dough into 1/2 inch balls.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten fork to 1/2 inch thickness.
Bake 12 minutes until bottom is brown.
Cool on cookie sheet or wire rack 1 minute, then remove to rack to cool completely.
Store in tightly covered container.
Can keep up to two weeks.
