Cheese Blintzes
Cheese Blintzes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 loaves pepperidge farm very thin white bread*, 1 lb. cream cheese, softened, 2 egg yolks, 1/2 c. sugar and 3/4 c. butter, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cut the crusts off the pieces of bread and roll out very thin.
Cream together the cream cheese, egg yolks and 1/2 cup sugar.
Spread a layer of filling on each piece of bread and roll up like a jelly roll.
Combine melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well.
Dip each roll-up into this mixture and line in a baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
These are good warm or at room temperature.
Yield: 44 blintzes.
