Cheddar Cheese Egg Casserole
Cheddar Cheese Egg Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 8 slices white or wheat bread, butter, 3/4 lb. bacon, 3/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese and 1 tsp. dry mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Butter 9 x 13-inch pan.
Remove crusts from bread.
Butter bread slices and line bottom of pan.
Fry or microwave bacon; crumble over bread.
Sprinkle cheese over bacon.
Mix thoroughly mustard, milk and eggs.
Pour over bread, bacon and cheese.
Cover pan and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
