Carrots of the Ritz
Carrots Of The Ritz is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. pared and sliced carrots, 1 chicken bouillon cube, 12 buttery round crackers, crushed (ritz-type), 2 tbsp. minced onion and 2 tbsp. softened butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook carrots in water with bouillon cube until almost done. Drain and save liquid.
Coarsely mash carrots. Add crushed crackers, onion, butter and 2/3 cup reserved liquid.
Mix well. Place in a small buttered baking dish.
Cover with grated cheese. Bake at 450Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
