Carrot Pecan Cake
Carrot Pecan Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. wesson oil, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. sifted flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine oil and sugar.
Mix well.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Sift 1/2 dry ingredients into sugar-oil mixture. Blend well.
Sift in remaining dry ingredients alternately with eggs one at a time.
Mix well after each addition.
Add carrots and mix well.
Add nuts last.
Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
After, cool at least 10 minutes in pan.
Remove from pan and finish cooling.
Can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
