Carrot Casserole(Lisa's Favorite)
Carrot Casserole(Lisa'S Favorite) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 carrots, 1 small onion, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook carrots sliced crosswise.
Saute onion in margarine.
Add flour, salt and dry mustard, mixed together.
Add milk and cook until thick.
Remove from heat and add celery seed.
Layer carrots, slices of Cheddar cheese and milk mixture into casserole dish.
Cover with milk mixture and bake 45 minutes at 350Β°.
Cover with buttered bread crumbs the last 5 minutes.
