Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 qt. popped corn, 2 c. light brown sugar, 2 sticks margarine, 1/2 c. light corn syrup and pinch of cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix sugar, syrup and butter in a heavy pan.
Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add soda, salt and cream of tartar.
Pour immediately over popped corn.
Mix lightly but well.
Place in a large roaster pan.
Bake at 200Β° for 1 hour. Stir once while baking.
Pour on waxed paper and separate.
