Candy Coated Nuts
Candy Coated Nuts is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 1/2 c. walnuts or pecan halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Butter sides of heavy 1-quart saucepan.
In it, mix the sugars and sour cream.
Stir until sugars melt.
Cook to soft ball stage (236Β°).
Add vanilla.
Beat until mixture begins to thicken.
Add nuts.
Stir until well coated.
Turn out on greased cookie sheet. Separate into individual pieces.
Makes 1 pound.
