Candied Sweet Potatoes

Boil whole potatoes until tender.
Take off skin; slice thin. Put in buttered Pyrex dish a layer of potatoes, sprinkled with sugar, cinnamon and butter.
When dish is filled, sprinkle top layer of potatoes with sugar, butter, cinnamon and orange peel. Add water; bake until brown and well candied, about 30 minutes, at 350Β°.
