Calamari Rings
Calamari Rings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. squid, cleaned and cut into rings, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/4 c. grated parmesan, 1/4 c. italian bread crumbs and 1/4 tsp. each: salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Dry squid on paper towels.
Combine dry ingredients and coat squid with flour mixture.
Heat peanut oil to 365Β°.
Deep fry a few rings at a time until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with horseradish, sweet and sour or marinara sauce.
Makes 4 servings.
