Cajun Shrimp Fettucine
Cajun Shrimp Fettucine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. fettucine, uncooked, 1/2 lb. shrimp (medium), 2 slices bacon, 2 medium garlic cloves, minced (1 medium) and 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Shell and devein shrimp. Dice bacon. Cook pasta as package directs. Drain and keep warm.
Cut shrimp in half lengthwise.
In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain.
Stir in garlic and spices. Cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp and green pepper.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp are cooked.
Just before serving, spoon sauce over hot fettucine. Makes 4 servings.
