Cabbage Soup
Cabbage Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and 1 small head cabbage, shredded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown ground beef in pan with oil.
Add garlic and onion. Saute until meat loses its pinkness.
Drain off fat, if any.
Add cabbage, carrots, salt, peppercorn, bay leaf, broth and water. Heat to simmer.
Cook until cabbage is tender, about 10 minutes. Add peppers and soy sauce.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
