Beat egg yolks and sugar until fluffy; add scalded milk and vanilla, beating constantly.
Add flour and baking powder. Fold in melted butter or margarine.
Batter will be very thin. Pour into 3 (9-inch) well-greased at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Ice cake with your favorite frosting.
