Butter Pound Cake

Mix butter and sugar with beater.
Cream well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add flour, one cup at a time.
Mix until smooth.
Spoon into a 9-inch, floured tube pan. Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cool before turning out onto wire rack to cool.
Makes one 9-inch tube cake.
