Buterhorns
Buterhorns is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. sour cream and 1 egg yolk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix together sour cream & egg yolk.
Cut butter into flour as you would for a pie crust.
Add sour cream & egg yolk to mixture. Mix well and shape into a ball.
Wrap well and chill overnight. Divide into 3 parts and roll each into a circle and cut into pie shaped wedges (12).
Put 1 tsp. of filling on the wide end of the roll up.
Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 375Β° for 25-30 minutes until just lightly browned.
Chill & dust with powdered sugar.
