Brown Sugar Shortbread Puffs
Brown Sugar Shortbread Puffs is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 egg yolk and 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, beat brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and egg yolk; blend well. Add flour. Stir until mixture forms a smooth dough. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown and set.
Yields 4 dozen cookies.
