Brown Rice
Brown Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 stick corn oil oleo, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 1/2 c. long grain rice (not instant rice), 1 can beef consomme and 1 1/4 c. boiling water or 1 can beef bouillon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt oleo in Corning Ware casserole.
Add onions, stir until cooked but not brown (use low heat).
Add rice and continue cooking and stirring until rice turns white.
Add consomme and bouillon, stir well.
Cover casserole.
Bake 30 minutes at 300° to 325°.
