Broccoli Mushroom Casserole
Broccoli Mushroom Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 1 1/2 lb. broccoli, 5 tbsp. margarine, 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Separate broccoli and cook in 1-inch boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes.
Drain.
Put in a 9-inch square pan.
Melt margarine and blend flour, salt and pepper.
Cook and stir until smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in milk; add cheese.
Saute mushrooms in remaining margarine until tender; add to sauce.
Add peppers and cook 1 minute.
Pour over broccoli.
Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350Β°.
