Brisket
Brisket is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 flat end brisket, trimmed of all fat, 1/4 c. italian salad dressing, 1 can or 1 pkg. brown gravy mix, 1 c. water and 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Place brisket in flat pan which is lined with heavy foil. Combine ingredients and pour over brisket.
Fold foil over and seal tightly.
Tenderize overnight.
When ready to cook, bake 45 minutes per pound at 350Β°.
(Check meat for doneness; if overdone, it will fall apart.)
Can cool and refrigerate.
Slice with electric knife: thin for sandwiches, thicker with barbecue sauce. Can use juices for au jus or gravy.
