Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. herbed seasoned croutons, 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese (5 1/2 oz.), 1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms (approximately 1 1/2 c.), 2 lb. sausage and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Arrange croutons in single layer in bottom of dish.
Sprinkle cheese and mushrooms evenly over croutons. Cook sausage in a large skillet, breaking into chunks, until browned, about 15 minutes.
Drain thoroughly. Place sausage over cheese and mushrooms. Beat eggs, milk, soup and mustard.
Pour over sausage.
Bake until set, about 1 1/2 hours at 300Β°.
Serve hot.
This can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight.
