Wash cucumbers and slice thin.
Slice onions and peppers; combine with cucumbers and salt.
Let stand for 3 hours.
Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in large pot.

Pack while hot into sterilized jars and seal. (Use pickling spices tied in cheesecloth.)
