Brauer'S Sausage Cakes(A Southern Recipe) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. whole milk, 1 pkg. jimmy dean country sausage, 5 large eggs, 1 stick sweet butter and 1/2 to 3/4 loaf whole white bread, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Take approximately 1/2 loaf of white bread and break into pieces.
Take 3/4 of the package of sausage and tear into small pieces.
Take the eggs, crack and put in mixing bowl.
Add the bread and hunks of sausage and mix.
Add some milk every so often. Form into 4 to 5 cakes (looks like large hamburgers) and fry in large skillet with butter until golden brown.
Serve with fresh applesauce and cinnamon rolls.
