Bow Knots
Bow Knots is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 egg yolks, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. sugar, 5 tbsp. sour cream and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a bowl, add salt to egg yolks.
Beat until lemon color.
Add sugar and liquor.
Add sour cream and alternate with flour; mix well after each addition.
Knead on breadboard.
When you hear a crackling noise, keep kneading until shiny, blisters pop up and the dough doesn't stick anymore.
Make into 3 balls.
Roll out on a floured board.
Cut center and twist.
Fry on hot frying pan. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
