Boiled Molasses Cookies
Boiled Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. molasses, 4 tsp. baking soda, 1 c. margarine or shortening, 1 c. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Boil molasses over heat for 1 minute.
Remove from stove and in same pan add baking soda, margarine or shortening, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, beaten eggs and vinegar.
Stir in flour and mix well.
Roll into balls, place on a greased cookie sheet. Press down with a fork.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
