Bohemian Kolache
Bohemian Kolache is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cubed butter, 3 tbsp. powdered sugar, 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 2 egg yolks and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter, sugar, cream cheese and egg yolks together.
Add flour, baking powder and salt; blend well.
Add vanilla.
Chill at least 2 hours.
Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
Cut in 3 1/2-inch squares.
In center of each square, place 1 rounded teaspoonful prune or apricot mixture.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Fold over opposite corners and pinch together.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for about 12 minutes.
Watch closely as Kolache burns easily.
Makes about 3 dozen.
