Black Magic Cake
Black Magic Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 3/4 c. flour, 3/4 c. hershey's cocoa, 2 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour two 9-inch round pans or a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, blend sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium 2 minutes (batter will be thin).
Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes for round pans; bake 35 to 40 minutes for rectangular pan.
When toothpick comes out clean, cake is done.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pans to wire rack; cool completely.
Frost as desired.
