Biscuits
Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 4 tbsp. shortening, 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 tsp. baking powder and 1 c. milk (approximately), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Work in shortening until it resembles corn meal.
Add milk until dough is hard to handle and moist.
Stir only until flour is moistened.
Place dough on floured wax paper; sprinkle top with flour and pat to about 2-inch thickness.
Cut with glass or biscuit cutter and place on pan with each biscuit touching.
Bake at 450Β° for about 10 minutes or until done and top is slightly brown.
