Biscuits
Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 1/2 c. shortening, buttermilk, oleo and milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix shortening with flour until crumbly.
Add buttermilk, a little at a time, until you can form a soft dough (a little less than one cup).
Place dough on lightly floured surface; pat or roll dough out until smooth and about 3/4-inch thick.
Cut out biscuits with biscuit cutter.
Place on a buttered cookie sheet. Brush top with milk.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400Β°.
